MBP® Research
We have been studying the relationship between bone and milk for over ten
years. Our research bore fruit when the discovery of MBP® was made.
MBP®, a natural functional substance found in extremely small amounts
in the milk of cows and human beings, has the effect of increasing
bone density.
As bones are constructed from living tissue, old bone is constantly being
broken down and replaced by new bone. In short, bones are reborn little
by little, day after day. Two types of cells are active in the work of
bone generation: bone-forming osteoblasts and bone-destroying osteoclasts.
MBP®'s most important characteristics are that it increases the number
of bone-forming osteoblast cells and regulates the activity of bone-destroying
osteoclast cells. Therefore, MBP® acts directly and indirectly on bone
cells to reinforce the bone itself, making it more receptive to calcium
while at the same time preventing excessive calcium from being dissolved
from the bones.
Its function has been presented at many academic conferences and studies
on MBP® have been published in academic journals.
